The board of the Camp Mennoscah Association is excited to announce the selection of Michael Unruh as its new executive director. Camp Mennoscah is a Christian Camp located near Hutchinson on the banks of the Ninnescah River.
“The Board of Directors is excited Michael accepted our invitation to become executive director. He brings a passion for youth and Christian camping. Michael has experienced Camp Mennoscah as a camper, summer staffer, volunteer and program director. As part of a strong team, Michael will help Camp Mennoscah continue to provide people of all ages with the opportunity to renew themselves, their relationships, and their connection with God.”
Unruh’s first day in his new position is September 6, 2016. He commented “I am both humbled and excited to have the opportunity to work with the passionate board, staff and volunteers of Camp Mennoscah, a place that has played an enormous role in my own faith development. Building on strong relationships with churches, families, and campers, I look forward to a bright future, where we will always be looking for ways to better serve our guests, as well as envision how we can more completely provide for our guests in the future. My hope is that all who come to Camp Mennoscah may experience renewal in their selves, their relationships with other people, their connection with nature, and their relationship with God through Jesus Christ.”
