75th Anniversary Kick-Off Celebration a Success!

More Events to come as Camp Celebrates 75 years of Camping

September 26, 2023

Sunday, September 24, marked the official kick-off of Camp Mennoscah's 75th Anniversary Celebration! Patrons younger and older gathered at Camp to play, to share stories and memories, to take a hayrack tour, to sing, to eat a burger or two, and to enjoy a warm autumn day on the river's edge with friends.

This event was only the beginning of what is planned as an extended celebration of Camp Mennoscah and the ministry of Camp to patrons over the last 75 years.

Marlin and Betta Kym, long-time pastors now retired to the Moundridge area shared how they both met and became engaged at Camp. Watch for a longer version of their story to come!

And Vangie Truex of Wichita brought three grandkids out for the day and sent a note Monday saying, "Thanks again for the lovely event yesterday afternoon. All kids really enjoyed it!" We enjoyed having you here - kids and adults alike!
