Summer staffers share stories of campers every week during the summer. This camper story happened at the dinner table.
"It was near the end of the week and our table got on the topic of heading home. It was at this point that one of the campers said, “I’m not ready to go home yet, camp is so much better.” This reminded me that for some of these campers, camp is a safe space away from everyday life. It’s nice to know that a safe place can be provided for kids, as well as a place where they can grow in their relationship with God."
